Hyundai Korean Restaurant in Leavenwortd

I've been to most Korean restaurants around the KC area + other states but this hole-in-the-wall-like place is AMAZING. The food tastes authentic and you get a large portion compared to the price you pay (which is also pretty cheap opposed to all other Korean places that I've been to). So happy that I found this place!

We go to the market there for ingredients for Korean and Japanese dishes. They carry a little bit of everything. This time we are making Kimbap. Yum! They do make that at the restaurant and it is fantastic!

Great Korean food! Good service. Nice market. The location, decor, and outside area could be better. You should go for the authentic Korean dishes. Great lunch spot.

The short ribs alone make this the best restaurant in Leavenworth.

It’s ok. It’s adequate if you’re dying for Korean food. The banchan was very basic; kimchi, bean sprout, etc.The mandu buchimga, kimchi jjigae were all very ordinary. Total bill $35😯.

Excellent food and great, friendly service!

Since it opened, this has been a favorite date spot for my boyfriend and me! The market is fun to explore (we love the aloe juice they sell), the staff is so friendly, and the food is some of the best I've had in my life. The Bibimbap is my go-to but I've loved everything I've tried.

VERY friendly and accommodating kind people who are very ready to help you understand various kinds of Asian food. VERY HELPFUL and COURTEOUS and HONORABLE and worthy of respect. These fine merchants are a gracious asset to my local community. And their food is AMAZING! I LOVE to shop there and so far, my favorite products there are their various kinds of fermented foods: KIM CHI and MISO bean soup paste.

This place simply knows how to satisfy their clients. Always with a nice approach. The food is affordably priced, constantly yummy and clean.

Good little Korean restaurant in Leavenworth. The lunch menu was a good subset of dinner, with a selection of Korean favorites as well as a few I never heard of. Absolutely worth a stop if you're in the area.

The people who work here are amazing. Their food is to die for. They're excellent Cooks and excellent staff. The pricing is great. their food is very authentic and tastes like it's straight from Korea. I definitely would highly recommend it to anybody that wants to go. Best Korean in Leavenworth

I watch a lot of Korean Dramas and was always interested in they food they were eating. Found this nice little place in Leavenworth about a 35 min drive from home. The food was great. Worth the drive and will be back. The spicy rice cakes were a little too spicy for me personally but the flavor was great. My personal favorites were the the veggie Kimball and the veggie Korean pancake. Dang now I am hungry for it again.

I went to the Hyundai Korean Restaurant and tried Korean food for the first time. We had Tteok-bokki, Chicken Bulgogi, Japchae, Kimbap, and Steamed Vegi Mandu! My mother and I loved all the food. It was all so delicious! The women at the restaurant where very nice and the shop inside was great! The store inside had so much stuff and it was interesting to go in and see all the different types of Korean foods and culture. I definitely recommend and will be coming back very soon!

The menu and service were above my expectations. We really liked the ambience of this spot. Fantastic place to take my family out for dinner.

We were sooo hungry from running around today, and Korean food sounded perfected! Luckily for us, Hyundai Korean Restaurant didnt close for another 40min. Thank you to the entire staff for making us an amazing meal! It was so delicious!

Service was great. Good food. Quick turnaround depending on whether you beat the lunchtime rush. They have a Korean market in the back of the restaurant. The staff really cater to your taste buds and you can tailor your dish to how much soy or ginger or spice you prefer based on recommendations from the staff. We are happy to visit again.

Rough little hole in the wall place. Decent prices and the food was good. Mandu was close to what you get in Korea and the dipping sauce was SPOT ON. There is a Korean market in the building too, so you can take home the flavors. Lots of delicacies and things you expect to see in authentic Korean dishes. Prices in the market vary in feeling from decent to overpriced so I imagine the flux is due to what they pay to import individual items.

I haven't stopped to eat but the store is really great and the nice lady that works there is so nice she always makes my day. They have a good selection too.

Love the family atmosphere. Very sweet to my babies. They let me shop in their store while I waited for my meal to cook. Will let everyone know about them.

Hidden gem in Leavenworth! They are super friendly and the food is delicious. Try the hot pot bibimbop, it is amazing!

I had the dolsot Bibimbap. It was fantastic, and so was the service from really nice people. I'll be back!

two days ago was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We had great time with the excellent service, with the excellent food and fine drinks and with the comfortable cost. We will definitely return there soon.
